NDLW: Stacking Success: Integrating Micro-Credentials and Certifications into Online Learning In-Person
This session is a part of the National Distance Learning Week Celebration.
I have supported 200+ undergraduate and graduate students in earning specialized badges and micro-credentials. Collectively, these students have earned over 2,000 certifications across five certifying bodies, developed in partnership with 13+ employer organizations. In this presentation, I will discuss why I began including these certificates as a part of my course materials, share student outcomes, and highlight why it has been a meaningful value-add for both the students and myself.
This session will run 30-40 with Q&A.
