Decoding our disciplines and making the most Learning Management Systems In-Person

Come join a conversation about a faculty development model, “decoding the disciplines,” (Pace & Middendorf, 2004) that encourages faculty to focus on the topics and skills where significant numbers of students struggle. These are often the places where things seem obvious to faculty and yet missed by students. The model provides a process by which faculty can identify these bottlenecks and find ways of getting around them. We will also consider how to use the lessons learned as we move to a new learning management system.”
