Showcase Your Work and Accomplishments Online: Developing Your Faculty Biography Webpage

Showcase Your Work and Accomplishments Online: Developing Your Faculty Biography Webpage In-Person

Buffalo State's faculty biography pages, housed on department sites, offer a personalized showcase for faculty members' education, research interests, and accomplishments and are geared to the wide audience of prospective and current students, the campus community, other institutions, and the public. In this session, learn how to update and manage your existing faculty webpage using Drupal, the college’s content management system. We'll cover the fundamentals of how to develop and maintain your faculty biography page, as well as which types of information might be included and how to best present that information. Accessibility and multimedia will be addressed as well. No web experience required! This training counts as campus Drupal training, so you would be eligible for wider editing privileges on approved Drupal sites after this session.

The link to join the session will be sent to your 2-hours prior to the workshop.
