The Course Design Review Process with OSCQR In-Person

The Course Design Review process utilizes the OSCQR rubric to focuses on how instructional design and pedagogical best practices can be applied to online or hybrid courses. This research-based course review and enhancement model was developed to offer a team approach to the continuous improvement of online and hybrid courses.

During the course design review process, faculty work with Buffalo State instructional designers and faculty members with experience designing and delivering online and hybrid courses to ensure best practices in pedagogy and instructional design. The course design review process uses Buffalo State's customized version of the (OSCQR) rubric. Faculty representatives from each of Buffalo State's colleges developed this version of the OSCQR rubric to reflect the needs of Buffalo State faculty, students, and courses.

This webinar will provide an overview of the course design review process and the OSCQR rubric. Instructional designers from Instructional Design and Distance Learning will be available to answer any questions during this session. The webinar link will be emailed to registered participants before the session.
