Developing Your Faculty Biography Page

The Marketing and Communications Office and Computer Information Systems are pleased to present a relaxed working session to help faculty showcase their hard work on the college website. Buffalo State's faculty biography pages (found on department sites) offer a personalized showcase for faculty members' education, research interests, and accomplishments and are geared to the wide audience of prospective students, the campus community, other institutions, and the public. In this session, learn how to access, develop, and maintain your faculty biography webpage using Drupal, the college’s content management system. We'll cover the fundamentals of how to edit your faculty biography page, as well as what types of information might be included and how to best present that information. Accessibility and multimedia will be addressed during this session as well.
