All SUNY staff and faculty are invited to attend a conversation in Zoom about Implicit Bias on February 2 from 12:30-1:30. The discussion will be led by Eileen MacAvery Kane, Assistant Professor, Art Department, Rockland Community College.

Prof. MacAvery Kane will share highlights and resources from a five week training course she recently completed, “NEA/NYSUT Virtual Trainer of Trainers: Implicit Bias, Microaggressions, and Stereotypes.” There will be a brief presentation followed by breakout sessions for discussion of these topics and how they impact us and our students, and strategies to recognize, address, and confront them in ourselves and others.
