CANCELED: Leading Change Through Your Habits

CANCELED: Leading Change Through Your Habits In-Person

What is it?

A workshop focused on identifying what you would like to change, where that change is already happening, and not happening, then developing an accountability practice of daily habits to make progress on the change.

What are the areas of focus, and what will we do?

A discussion-based interactive workshop that will focus on:

  1. Understanding the environment and context of the change. Is the change taking place in an environment that is simple, complicated, chaotic, or complex?
  2. Change requires framing and boundary sharing by the leader. How can the change be framed and edges shared so people can continue the work to be done, and make progress on the change?
  3. The leader will change their behavior and approach to change. What daily habits can you focus on to support the change?

How will we make progress?

You will leave this workshop with:

  1. a focused change you are accountable for as a leader;
  2. knowledge of whether the change is simple, complicated, complex, or chaotic;
  3. how to change your leadership approach to best match the context of the change;
  4. a series of daily habits or actions you can take that will support your progress to make a useful change.

About Mike Cardus:

What Mike Believes: Some consultants feel as if they are heroes called in to fix something broken, like the knight on the horse. That is quite tragic – to treat people as if they are broken when the teams, leaders, and people have done so much to get to where they are. Mike forms a partnership with all clients to accept where you are, listen to what’s working, and understand what isn’t to create a process with you to improve your company’s profitability.
