ENCORE: What the heck are we to make of Artificial Intelligence in our classrooms? In-Person
For those who have not yet been able to join the discussion, come join us for a conversation, entitled "What the heck are we to make of Artificial Intelligence in our classrooms?" on February 24th from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in Butler Library 318.
For better or worse, artificial Intelligence (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft CoPilot, Gemini) is here and here to stay. This session will explore the implications for our classrooms. In particular, how we might adjust to teaching and learning in a world with AI? The session will offer suggestions for promoting opportunities for authentic student voice which can mitigate some of the negative side of AI's influence as well as offer suggestions for how instructors even consider embracing AI in their classrooms.
