Using Augmented and Virtual Reality to Enhance Pedagogy: Western New York’s Panoramic Images Repository, Empire State Immersive Experiences (ESIE). In-Person

Technology can enhance learning experiences through augmenting reality and placing students in spaces they otherwise could not visit. There is a plethora of proprietary AR/VR platforms that can provide supplemental learning materials. Through the Western New York Library Resources Council (WNYLRC), Buffalo State has access to an open-source repository of 360-degree images. We will discuss ways you can add your own educational material to the site and how your students can benefit from interacting with this platform.
