Enhance your Brightspace Course Design to Meet Student Needs In-Person

How has the design of your Brighspace course evolved to meet the needs of today's modern learners? In this workshop, we will focus on how we can enhance the design of our courses to facilitate learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners. Based on feedback from students and best practices in instructional design, we will discuss best practices for designing interactive and consistent learning experiences within a course.

After attending this workshop you will be able to identify design strategies to:

  • enhance your course's organization and structure
  • implement best practices in instructional design principles to design/redesign modules in Brightspace
  • create a clear learning pathway to assist students in achieving the learning outcomes
  • create a cohesive, accessible, structured, and responsive course design in Brightspace

Computers are not needed to participate in this workshop, though you are welcome to bring your own device to this workshop. It is recommended in advance of attending this workshop participants attend the Brightspace Fundamentals Series Workshop #1 - Navigation & Interface or are comfortable navigating in Brightspace.
