CERT - New Member Training - Session 4

CERT - New Member Training - Session 4 In-Person

Join CERT!

Please consider joining this very important, and beneficial, organization.

Learn how to be prepared.

Learn the basic skills to protect your Organization, Community, and Family.

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response. Using training learned in the classroom and during exercises, CERT members can assist others in their neighborhood or workplace following an event when professional responders are not immediately available. CERT members also are encouraged to support emergency response agencies by taking a more active role in emergency preparedness projects in their community. CERT is also fun!

There are 4 training sessions that are REQUIRED to become a CERT member

(Please register for all 4 training sessions!!!)

These training sessions will follow the FEMA guidelines and prepare you to become a CERT member at Buffalo State University. ALL faculty and staff are welcome!
