Choice Words: A Conversation with Contributors

Choice Words: A Conversation with Contributors Online

The Social Justice Book Club will host "Choice Words: A Conversation with Contributors" on Wednesday, April 19, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. We will be joined online by several contributors to Choice Words: Writers on Abortion, who will read their work and discuss their motivations for writing and sharing it.

This is an online event. All members of the campus community are invited to attend.

The Social Justice Book Club provides a space for Buffalo State community members to have meaningful conversations about challenging topics. The specific focus of the book club changes each year.

This program was made possible with the support of E. H. Butler Library, Equity and Campus Diversity, Student Leadership and Engagement, the Muriel A. Howard Honors Program, the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies interdisciplinary minor, the Grant Allocation Committee, the Anne Frank Project, and Haymarket Books.

Presenter: Josette Akresh-Gonzales, Lisa Alvarado, Deborah Hauser, Ellen Stone
