Robert Warren is a professor of global change ecology at Buffalo State. His research focuses on how species interactions respond to habitat fragmentation, non-native species invasion, and climate change. Warren currently is studying how classic ecological theory explains the impacts of non-native ants on both vertebrate and invertebrate communities. Warren works with students to conduct studies on urban ecology and novel ecosystems. He has authored more than 60 academic papers, has a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia (Athens), and did postdoctoral research at Wright State and Yale universities.
