SUMMARY:Brightspace Fundamentals Series Workshop #5 - Gradebook
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is designed for instructors new to Brightspace. 
 Deciding how you will assess and communicate performance is an important 
 consideration for any course. Will you have final grades? How will grades 
 be displayed to your learners? When- and how- will grades be released? 
 These are questions an instructor needs to reflect on before they set up 
 their grade book. This workshop is suitable for instructors teaching in any 
 modality: face-to-face\, hybrid\, or online. \n \nThis is the fifth 
 workshop in the fundamental series: Navigation & Interface\; Communication 
 Tools\; Authoring/Publishing Content\; and Gradable Activities: 
 Assigments\, Discussions and Quizzes.\n \nPrerequisite: Brightspace 
 Navigation & Interface and at least one of the Gradable Activities 
 Workshops\, equivalent training from SUNY or experience using the 
 Brightspace LMS. You will need to have gradable activties already created 
 (quizzes\, assignments\, discussions) in a Brightspace course in order to 
 attend this workshop.\n\n\nPlease be sure you are able to login to your 
 Brightspace account before attending this workshop. You can login using the 
 Network Login option with your Buffalo State username and password. If you 
 are experiencing login issues\, please submit a ticket via the IT Portal.
