Social Justice Institute Open Forum In-Person

Members of the Social Justice Subcommittee of the President's Council on Equity and Campus Diversity will discuss their initial ideas for the proposed Social Justice Institute (SJI) and engage the campus community and community partners in providing feedback to build on those ideas and share new ideas.

The first draft of ideas will be released in advance of the meetings for the campus community and community partners. Student, staff, faculty, and community partner input is an essential part of the recommendation drafting process to ensure the SJI’s purpose, programs, and initiatives meet campus and community priorities. We aim to also ensure that the work conducted is community centered and community driven, and we look forward to your honest and thoughtful input.

Please note that the open forums are formatted to allow for members of the campus community and community partners to drop in to provide input and ideas at any point during the scheduled sessions. Attendance is not required for this entire session. A Zoom link for the open forum will be sent to you the morning of the event.
